The game was alright being my first live cricket experience, but I dare say Bury would be disappointed with the way it went. Three balls in and Bury found themselves a wicket down in the first innings. Ben Seabrook's score of 35 made the total more respectable, whilst Ben Curran played well for his 13 runs. Cambridge leg spinner Kieren Mackenzie though dumbfounded Bury, taking the majority of the hosts' wickets as Bury were bowled out for 111 after just over 34 of 50 overs. Cambridge in reply were going well, with the visitors' first wicket falling after 14.2 overs, Kieren Mackenzie being dismissed not too far from a half century, whilst 74 runs stood on the board- as victory looked well in sight. Bury though picked up a second wicket, to ensure they got something from the innings as Cambridge reached the target after just over 34 or so overs.
