Moreton Men took the lead early on, great football saw Dean Nelson and Jacob Malpass link up excellently, with the latter flicking an excellent ball round the defence to thread the former clear on goal to slot home.
Chedburgh however equalised 5 minutes later, threaded through down the right to slide home past Marshall.
Moreton Men though did test the home defence numerous times in the first half, forcing a few saves from the goalkeeper.
