RAMPANT FINISHING FROM THE YOUNG BLUES SETS UP HOME TIE WITH FELIXSTOWE

Nine well taken goals see Bury progress to the 2nd Qualifying Round for the fourth straight season.
Bury Town Under-18s set up a home 2nd Qualifying Round home tie against Felixstowe & Walton United (who beat Whitton United 5-0 away) in two weeks time following a very much one-sided 9-0 win at the Denny Bros Stadium.
For the vast majority of the first half, Bury penned Hadleigh into their own half as the young Blues continued to create chance after chance.
The hosts' first chance arrived in just the third minute as Ben Haddoch's short free-kick to Tom Pinyoun saw the latter's dangerous low cross blocked as far as Haddoch who then saw his ferocious first time strike deflected just an inch wide of the bottom near left-hand corner.
And from the resulting set-piece Bury broke the deadlock as Tom Gee chested home Ben Haddoch's corner low from point blank range at the near post, 1-0 Bury. That goal being the Bury captain's second goal of the season.
Clinton Frank was next to test the visiting back line in the eighth minute as the forward fired just wide of the bottom left-hand corner from just outside the box, whilst Angus Mills' dangerous ball flashed across the six yard box, just evading the Bury man running in at the far post two minutes later.
Some clever play from Angus Mills quickly extended Bury's lead to 2-0 after just 15 minutes, the forward weaved through cleverly onto the right-hand side in the box who then shifted the ball onto his left foot before rifling home into the top left-hand corner!
Three minutes later, Ben Haddoch tried his luck at goal, hitting a powerful swerving strike narrowly wide of the bottom right-hand corner, whilst the home side flashed a dangerously inviting cross across the six yard, which just evaded the finishing touch it craved soon after.
Two goals in three minutes moved Bury into a clinical 4-0 lead in next to no time as Jack Turner's neat nutmeg released Tom Pinyoun through the defence as the latter's cheeky dink over the keeper nestled into the bottom right-hand corner, 3-0.
Turner also picked up an assist for Bury's fourth goal in the 23rd minute, this time the striker fed Angus Mills in space just outside the box who absolutely thumped home his second goal of the night, and his fourth of the season, into the bottom right-hand corner.
At this point, Bury had penned Hadleigh into their own half with chances constantly coming in quick succession.
Ben Haddoch's sumptuous free-kick picked out Clinton Frank peeling away free at the near post, but the latter's header looped not too far over the cross on 26 minutes.
Three minutes later though, George Allison leaped highest to meet a pinpoint Ben Haddoch corner, but he could only direct his header over the crossbar.
Haddoch meanwhile rattled the top off the crossbar with a exquisite curling right wing cross back into play on 31 minutes, whilst the young Blues hit five just four minutes later.
Haddoch deservedly got his name on the scoresheet as the attacking midfielder expertly finished home into the bottom right-hand corner.
After clever quick link up play between Angus Mills and Jack Turner saw the striker return the ball back to winger with a neat back heel six minutes before the break, Mills looked to seal his hat-trick but his shot was deflected behind for a corner.
Shortly after Bury increased their lead to six as Tom Pinyoun picked up his sixth goal of the campaign with another brace, with an outrageous 30-yard lob over the stranded goalkeeper into the top left-hand corner.
Bury continued to look to extend their lead further with the last chance of the half, as Angus Mills forced a good save from the keeper on 42 minutes, as the Bury forward's low strike was parried away by the keeper down to his left, before the winger then shot and narrowly of the bottom corner from Clinton Frank's resulting cutback.
Ahead of the second half, Bury made all three available substitutions at the break as Jack Jolland, Mikhim Bhujel & Max Kersey replaced George Allison, Jack Turner and Angus Mills, but whilst the substitutions did slightly slow down the pace of the second half the young Blues did still very much pose the same lethal threat.
Seven minutes after the restart, Ben Haddoch's right wing pinpoint free-kick deflected off the head of substitute Mikhim Bhujel's head free at point blank range but the ball rebounded just off target as Hadleigh were able to clear the danger.
But the first of a second half hat-trick from Clinton Frank did see the home side add a seventh goal on 53 minutes, Jack Utting threaded the winger through onto the right-hand side in the box who absolutely rocketed his strike home into the roof of the net.
Quarter of an hour later, the chances began to flow in quick succession for the young Blues once more as Max Kersey exploited slace down the right-hand side brilliantly only to see his inviting ball across the face of goal just evade Mikhim Bhujel in space, with only a touch required.
Max Willcox then went close to adding his name to the scoresheet as he glanced his close range header just wide following a sumptuous right wing cross on 70 minutes, before Hadleigh's only real half chance of the night followed two minutes later.
Fraser Simpson was first to the ball before Wilson, but the Hadleigh youngster could only poke it just over the crossbar.
Back at the other end, Ben Haddoch almost added his second goal of the night, but the creative player fired just over the top right-hand corner from 25-yards after 74 minutes.
Five minutes later, Max Kersey then tested the visiting defence once more as the winger was released through inside the box, drawing the goalkeeper committed off his line - the Bury substitute then rounded the shot-stopper before seeing his cross-shot cleared off the line by Donnelly.
Just as the game entered the last final ten minutes, Bury were awarded a penalty as Clinton Frank was pushed down from behind just outside the six yard box.
Frank dusted himself down to take the spot kick and confidently converted, sending the 'keeper the wrong way, slotting it into the bottom left-hand corner, 8-0; Frank's second of the night.
Two minutes later, Jack Hurrell almost added Bury's ninth goal of the night as the full-back fired just agonisingly over the top right-hand corner. His effort however was followed by Ben Haddoch, a minute later, who fired equally agonisingly over the crossbar.
And with six minutes to go, Clinton Frank sealed his hat-trick in style, after Mikhim Bhujel held up possession inside the box the substitute fed Frank in space further back inside the box who empathically fired home, via Croaker's sliding deflection, into the bottom left-hand corner.
Frank's 4th goal of the campaign rounded off a terrific night for the young Blues - who are back in home action on Monday (20th September) in the Suffolk U18 Midweek Cup against Ipswich Town U16s.
